It is a multidisciplinary activity which consists in determining the formal properties of industrially produced objects. It develops analogue and digital, eco-sustainable, aesthetic and poetic systems. It defines business strategies; it is at the centre of decision-making processes. It makes products less ambiguous and gives added and repeated value over time for a mutual benefit between citizen, user, company and country.

Interior Cabin
For ITA Airways , Walter De Silva redesigned the interior cabin, inspired by Rome’s pantheon, its materials and how they interact with the light entering the dome.
The objective was to introduce sustainability, elegance and beauty in the new fleet, while respecting the challenges of the aviation industry.

From the German word for air, “Luft”, symbolises the use of lightweight materials and the comfort offered by the chair. It invites its user to use it in less conventional sitting positions. Its forms do not constrict, do not reject.

Alodia, the chaise longue made of stainless steel, is almost invisible but stands out when it shimmers in the sun and casts its shadow, creating arcane figures. Alodia can be folded for storage.
